Build an Elevator Fund
Notre Dame D’Haiti is an intergenerational community, whereas nearly 70% of the parishioners are 55 and up. Serving such a massive and unique community opens the doors not just to the elderly population, but also to individuals with special needs. Providing access to social services such as learning English, taking computer classes, and participating in community forums at the Pierre Toussaint Leadership and Learning Center is nearly an impossible task. The two flights of stairs to get to the second floor of the building make assisting the elderly and special need members of this community a daunting reality.
Our solution is to add a fully functioning elevator that will allow everyone access to fully participate and gain access to all the available services offered to help further develop this great community.

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $300,000 to install the elevator and provide additional support to continue to make greater impact in the community.
